I've got this mix for a few days but too busy to post it...but here I am (at last) ! If you like funky electronic stuff you should know
Bear Entertainment, the label run by
Steve Kotey of the
Chicken Lips. All they releases are great without exception. The mix we got today is by the man called
Billy Bogus from
Pizzico Records (a lil' italian label that you gonna hear in the future...) for his friends
the Diaphanoids. After been in the musical industry in Italy (from mainstream to techno) these two guys decided to launch themselves as the Diaphanoids in 2001 (which is a good year for space project as they say !!) cause they had the same interest for new wave, disco, funk and krautrock. They released a 12" on Bear Funk few months ago and the album is ready... They're analog freaks and it's not surpising that they have a project with
Padded Cell one of the best artist of the
D.C. fame... Hum sounds good isn't it ? Don't worry you gonna be informed of this in the future months cause I'm a Padded Cell fan ! To complete the story they've done a remix for Snorkel, a London based artist. The Diaphanoids will be touring with their live very soon so watch out if they come in your city...
